At your first meeting with Strategic Planning Partners, your financial planner will walk you through the planning process, and answer any questions you may have. Most important, we’ll want to understand your vision for your future, your family, and your financial independence. Be prepared to be specific about such things as timing and lifestyle requirements.



Before we meet again, we will ask you to do a little homework by filling out our questionnaire and gathering together all of your financial information so we can create a "snapshot"  of where you are, today, in meeting your goals. 



In addition, we suggest you assemble the following items and bring them with you when we meet:


  • Last Paycheck Stub(s)
  • Checking & Savings Accounts: last statement
  • Mortgages, Loans & Credit Cards: last statement
  • Investment Accounts:  last statement
  • Real Estate Property Titles
  • Insurance Policies: last statement & original policy document                           
    • life                            
    • auto/home-renters/umbrella-liability                            
    • disability income                              
    • medical/health care                              
    • long term care - nursing home - home health care


  • Employee Benefits: last statement & informational booklet
  • Retirement Plans: last statement & informational booklet
  • Business or Partnership Agreements
  • Wills & Trust Agreements
  • Most Recent Income Tax Returns, including all schedules
  • Any other pertinent financial data you may have such as:

    • information regarding a major purchase
    • debt refinancing
    • expected inheritance, etc.
